What do you think you know?

Morning guys,
I was speaking to someone a few days ago. A person I met just a few months ago… and well the individual made note to inform me that she “knows me”…. 😮”you do?  Really? “… anyways it got me thinking of just how much i thought i knew many other people who turned out quite differently…. how I expected so much of them and they didn’t meet up… even the ones i didn’t expect anything from that wowed me… friends i never thought I’d be speaking to now but I still am…friends I thought i’d have forever but never stayed….. peeps I was certain would never understand me but knew my every move…. I read something once ‘your knowledge of a person is based on what they choose to show you’….  Moral: When people fuck you over,  dont attribute it to them not meeting up to the standard you set for them- I believe not every one has the willpower to be what everyone else wants them to be. I especially dont- I always remind myself ‘Tumise, maybe,  just maybe what you thought you KNEW about this person,  you actually didnt UNDERSTAND about them…. hence,  it would be very illogical to say factually that i KNOW a person. I may even say so but i never make the mistake to claim to UNDERSTAND a person… I’m only just beginning to know myself and it seems like i keep changing shades everytime i check…. no man is ever the same everyday. So,  everyday,  when you go through a change of self and mindset,  remember that the next person is doing so and start the day with an open mind and expectations of yourself only-TO BE A BETTER VERSION OF YOURSELF.

I’ve been experiencing a writer’s block of some sort but you’d be surprised what triggers writing for some. I write to vent. I write to avoid saying things I would regret. I write for solace and it suits me just fine. Thank you Alex for gingering me and for everyone else that reads this blog,  you guys are great.
