It’s hardly convenient to be nice, or respectful or tolerant and that’s because too many people will easily get on your nerves and do so willingly….yes, that’s a thing!
Too many times we worry too much about our reputation and less about our character without realising that the latter precedes the former. A lot of people have faux reputations in their minds–where because of their characters they have actually built a reputation but not of success.
If there is anything I have learnt in over two decades of living and learning, it’s that your character and attitude to things and people can either make or mar you. That includes your tantrums, your comebacks, your quick replies, your clapbacks, your trolling, your snide greetings, your expert ability to speak sarcasm, your ‘smart’ moves……
You may think that people are not watching but they are, even if they don’t want to.
This is just a reminder for everyone reading this to make changes where needed and do better as friends, sisters, lovers, colleagues, bosses, brothers, cousins, distant cousins, third cousins twice removed from the mother’s side……haha….Just to be better as humans really. I mean, we’re not perfect but we’re trying to be right?! Right!
